The Soulful Pause: Holistic Support for Real Life

Most people don’t wake up one day and decide they need a holistic health service.
They arrive because something feels off.
They’re functioning but not settled.
Coping, but not connected.
Doing everything they’re “meant” to do, yet quietly feeling disconnected from themselves.
There comes a point were pushing through no longer works.
Where coping starts to feel like surviving.
Where doing all the right things still leaves you feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or lost.
The Soulful Pause exists for that moment.
For people who sense there must be another way to live, one that doesn’t require constantly fixing, overriding, or pushing themselves just to get through the day.
Why We Exist
The Soulful Pause wasn’t created from theory alone.
It was created from lived experience.
From stress, burnout and pressure.
From motherhood and identity shifts.
From physical illness, emotional overload, and years spent in high-demand environments.
And from watching countless others move through the same cycles, over and over again, without ever being given tools that truly empower them.
We saw people being told to:
“Do more”,
“Think differently”,
“Push through”,
or “fix themselves”.
But rarely taught how to actually understand themselves.
The Soulful Pause exists because life is not a quick fix.
And humans are not problems to be solved.
What We Believe
We believe most people aren’t broken.
They’re disconnected.
Disconnected from their body.
Disconnected from their inner signals.
Disconnected from their sense of self.
We believe meaningful change doesn’t come from someone fixing you or telling you who to be.
It comes from learning how to understand yourself, regulate yourself, and respond to life from a grounded place rather than constant reaction.
Real change begins internally, and only lasts when the body, mind, emotions, and lived reality are allowed to meet each other honestly.
We don’t believe in shortcuts, hacks, or surface-level wellness trends.
We believe in guiding people back to themselves, so they can live with clarity, self-trust, and intention.
What People Actually Come to Us For
People arrive at The Soulful Pause for many reasons.
Burnout.
Stress.
Feeling stuck.
Emotional overwhelm.
A sense that they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way.
What they often leave with is something deeper:
A clearer understanding of themselves.
Language for what they’ve been feeling but couldn’t explain.
Tools to cope, regulate, and respond rather than react.
A reconnection to their values and sense of self.
And the confidence that they can hold their life in their own hands.
Because we guide them to learned how they work.
Our work is about helping people come back into internal coherence, where who they are, how they feel, and how they live are no longer pulling in different directions.

How We Work
The Soulful Pause offers two distinct but complementary ways of working, grounded in the same values and intention.
Jaymee
Jaymee’s work is holistic and body-led.
As a certified personal trainer and Reiki practitioner with over eight years of lived and professional experience in holistic living, movement, mindfulness, and self-regulation, Jaymee works with the body as the starting point for change.
Her work helps people understand their body first, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect with themselves through practical guidance, awareness, and grounded coaching.
She works in a way that is realistic, steady, and human, supporting people to take ownership of their wellbeing rather than relying on external fixes or constant intervention.
Lacee
Lacee’s work is holistic and mind-led.
Through psychology-informed coaching, reflection, and education, Lacee supports people to understand their thoughts, emotions, and internal patterns.
Her approach helps clients build clarity, emotional awareness, and insight, so they can respond to life with intention rather than feeling controlled by it.
Her work is grounded, ethical, and practical, supporting self-responsibility and confident decision-making.
Working Together
Jaymee and Lacee offer separate services, but they work in alignment.
When appropriate, they refer clients to one another, collaborate behind the scenes, and support each other’s work to ensure each person receives what they are truly seeking, not what fits a rigid structure.
They share the same intention:
to help people come back to themselves with clarity, understanding, and autonomy.
They teach beyond titles, but never beyond integrity.
What Makes The Soulful Pause Different
We are not here to tell you what to do with your life.
We don’t believe growth comes from being pushed, fixed, or overhauled overnight.
We don’t believe in quick solutions that ignore the complexity of being human.
Instead, we guide people to understand themselves well enough to make informed, empowered choices for their own lives.
This is why our work is often described as grounding, clarifying, and quietly life changing.
Not because we do the work for you, but because we support you to finally do it with yourself.
What We Are (and What We’re Not)
The Soulful Pause is:
A holistic health service
A space for education, awareness, and reconnection
Support for people ready to take responsibility for their own wellbeing
The Soulful Pause is not:
A quick fix
A replacement for medical or mental health care
A trend-driven wellness brand
A Final Word
We are not here to fix you.
We are here to help you understand yourself, trust yourself, and guide yourself.
Because when a person feels at home within themselves, life stops feeling like something that happens to them.
And that is where real change begins.
